Video flight footage is now being offered for any passenger who would like to keep a remembrance of their flight to take home to enjoy and share with others.
We will film you during your flight and capture your facial expressions during takeoff, landing and various manuevers during the flight. These will then be edited into a short movie and combined with stock footage of the Stearman.
Cost is an additional $30.00 and should be specified when you book your flight.
I displayed N5000V at the MTJ air fair on Sept 18-19, 2009 and they had a very nice turnout. Many vintage aircraft were on display and in the air during the event including the Stearman, a North American B-25, a North American P-51D, the CAF Grumman TBM Avenger and 2 North American AT-6 Texans.
The new on-board video system was also put to the test and the footage turned out great. Look for a compilation video to be added to the "Media" section shortly.
I installed an on-board camera system in the Stearman now to take video of passemgers while they are enjoying the open cockpit experience.
These videos can be downloaded and edited and put on a flash drive or DVD in .avi format to remember your flight, and to share with others your experience.
